Downtown Design, the region’s leading contemporary design fair returns to Dubai Design District (d3) this November for its 2025 edition, bringing together an international showcase of high-quality design and reaffirming Dubai’s position as a global hub for creativity, culture, and innovation.
At this year’s Downtown Design, leading brands and studios come together through a series of immersive pop-up experiences that celebrate design as a form of dialogue between eras, materials, and cultures. Each collaboration transforms space into storytelling, merging craftsmanship with contemporary sensibility to create moments of discovery across the fair.
Evoking the allure of Art Deco speakeasies, Cosentino will unveil their concept titled ‘1930’ by Etereo, at this year’s Downtown Design fair in d3. A contemporary lounge experience designed, the concept draws from the geometric harmony of Piero Portaluppi, the sculptural sensibility of Carlo Scarpa, and the bold architectural gestures of Ettore Sottsass, celebrating The Age of Elegance through a sophisticated interplay of geometry, materiality and historical inspiration.
This year, Veuve Clicquot has once again partnered with the renowned Studio Marcel Poulain to bring the Solaire Lounge back to Downtown Design. The lounge, featuring a sun-drenched terrace, evokes the vibrant energy and effortless elegance of the French Riviera.
Showcasing creativity from across the region, Downtown Design highlights the depth and diversity of local design talent. From emerging studios to established names or curated exhibits, the fair celebrates the cultural richness, craftsmanship, and contemporary vision contributing to the region’s design scene.
The second edition of Downtown Design Riyadh will take place from 3–6 February 2026 in the creative heart of JAX District, once again in partnership with the Architecture and Design Commission of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture.
